Castle Inn

Here are a few pictures from a castle we visited near my sister’s house. It hasn’t been kept up much over the last, oh I don't know, thousand years, but the ruins were beautiful and I loved the color combinations. The man who sat next to me on the plane ride here told me there are castles you can spend the night in. I just hope they are a little more hospitable for guests than this one would be, “Now let’s see, the only two rooms we have available are the 'Guest Dungeon', don’t mind the rodents and the leaks, and the 'Cement Suite' without a ceiling. Oh, and there are no keys, well, because there are no doors. Feel free to use the bathroom in the corner of the room opposite where you choose to sleep. Check out is at 11:00 if you last that long—have a nice stay!"

And here are a few pictures my sis took at the bird show. Big birds, large talons, catching chicks inches above your head—awesome…and slightly terrifying.
